Søby/Ärø Denmark - 06/14-6/15/2014

On our sailing trip last weekend we visited Søby on the island Ärø.

It was great sailing whether on Saturday. The sun was shining and the wind blew with 3-4 Beaufort from North.
We first went over to the west coast of Ärø and were lucky to be able along the coast towards the light house of Søby without much of beating about.
The harbor was not to crowded, although a little habor festival was taken place. The whole place was cheerful and the children enjoyed especially the pony riding.
We have been here in 2011 before, but that time it was at the end of an long exhausting sailing day. This time we took the chance to see more of the place than the harbor and the playground and were surprised what a nice little town Søby is.
